The MSSR provides advanced, innovative instrumentation and services for the discovery and translation of small and large molecules into clinical candidates.

MSSR services cover drug and target discovery, reagent and cell line generation as well as pre-clinical characterization of small and large molecules. With six integrated robotic screening systems, the MSSR has an industrial infrastructure that enables assay development and screening services.

Available for screening are an updated in-house deck of over 300K extremely well curated compounds in plate formats up to 1536 with readouts ranging from any plate reader-based readout to confocal high content screening. This includes annotated drug sets such as FDA approved drugs, anti-cancer agents and chemical genomics probes as well as human endogenous metabolites.

Target discovery is performed using our unique 300k functional genomics probe set. Available are arrayed genome wide cDNA, siRNA and shRNA sets, as well as our new human genome wide arrayed CRISPR set. All reagents are in also available as single clone, custom arrayed or pooled format.

We also generate knock-out cell lines in cancer cell lines, iPSCs and any other cellular background needed. Drawing on a large library of 130 tool plasmids that cover all aspects of CRISPR (dCas-i, dCas-a, Cas9, shRNA, cDNA overexpression etc.), we are able to tailor and engineer your cell line to your needs. We also have custom cloning capabilities for gRNAs in a cost efficient platform.

We are open to academic as well as industrial clients and have experience working with large pharmaceutical companies and smaller biotech companies alike.
