California NanoSystems Institute
The Molecular Screening Shared Resource is located in the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA. The CNSI is part of the Institutes for Science and Innovation initiative launched in 2002 by the California Governor’s office with cooperation from the state of California, the University of California, and more than one hundred of the state’s most innovative R&D driven companies. This initiative ensures that California and University of California scientists will be leading the way to address large-scale, complex societal issues through regional-scale, multi-institutional, and multi-sector efforts – an opportunity that is uniquely afforded by the University of California’s organization as a system.
